Geotechnical Surveys to Commence

Seagreen Wind Energy will be conducting a Geotechnical Survey within the Seagreen Alpha, Seagreen Bravo wind farms and export cable corridor as shown below.  The survey works will involve test locations to approximately 3km from shore at the closest point.

The survey work is being undertaken by Fugro Geoservice Limited (FGSL) Ltd and will be conducted from MV Despina (pictured below).  

The planned mobilisation of MV Despina is expected on 15 June, however, this may be delayed due to weather conditions and/or operational requirements.  The expected duration of the works, again weather permitting, is four weeks.
